Hugh Ogden Poet-in-Residence, Trinity College, Hartford Connecticut
The Hugh S. Ogden Poetry Prize/Poet-In-residence was established by family, friends, former students, and colleagues in loving memory of Hugh S. Ogden, Professor of English at the College from 1967 through 2006. Recipients of the prize receive an honorarium from the College and be provided with funding for their visit to the College to present a poetry reading during the month of March in honor of Professor Ogden’s birthday.
